Roofing and exterior estimating prices roof replacements, siding, and full building-envelope scopes. Accuracy comes from the details that are easy to undercount: tear-off layers, flashing, edge metal, penetrations, and waste. K2E takes these off explicitly so the square count is not the only number on the page.
Roofing and envelope work looks simple to estimate and is not. The field area is the easy part. The money hides in the linear details and the tear-off, which a fast estimate rounds past.

The linear feet nobody counts
Two roofers price the same roof and the squares match, but the bids are thousands apart. The difference is almost always the detail: how much flashing, how many penetrations, how many feet of edge metal and valley, how much tear-off.
We count the linear and detail scopes, not just the field. That is where roofing estimates are won and lost, and it is exactly the tedious work an automated area calc skips.

Common questions
Do you factor waste by roof complexity?
Yes. Waste is not a flat percentage. A cut-up roof with hips, valleys, and dormers wastes far more material than a simple gable, and we factor waste to the actual geometry.
Can you estimate full building-envelope scopes?
Yes. Beyond roofing we price siding, trim, windows, doors, and the flashing and detailing that ties the envelope together and keeps water out.
